Low, soft and deliberately unhurried. Riga is a relaxing chair designed for bedrooms, reading corners and the quiet spaces in between. Its laid-back profile follows the body into a naturally relaxed posture, while the accompanying footrest extends the experience from sitting to simply letting go. Upholstered in heavy-loop Italian bouclé, Riga combines generous texture with a sculptural simplicity that feels equally inviting to the eye and to the touch.

Not every piece of furniture needs to be designed around activity.
Riga was created around the opposite idea.
Its low profile encourages the body to recline rather than sit formally. The armless silhouette leaves movement unrestricted, while the separate footrest allows the body to stretch out and settle into its own position.
There is an intentional simplicity to the construction. Seat and back appear to flow into one continuous gesture, allowing proportion, texture and posture to define the chair instead of unnecessary detail.
Then there is the bouclé.
Heavy loops give the surface a pronounced tactile character, while the graphic stripes bend around Riga's curves, revealing the geometry of the form as they travel from back to seat.
The result is a chair with one uncomplicated purpose:
to make doing absolutely nothing feel like time well spent.
Riga takes inspiration from the Italian expression il dolce far niente—the sweetness of doing nothing.
It describes something increasingly rare: enjoying a moment without needing to make it productive.
A coffee that takes longer than necessary.
A few pages before an afternoon nap.
Watching the light change across a room.
Sitting somewhere simply because it feels good to stay.
Riga translates that philosophy into form. Its relaxed posture asks the body to slow down; its footrest encourages you to stay a little longer; and its richly textured Italian bouclé makes comfort a tactile experience.
Designed for the quieter corners of the home, Riga is not furniture for an occasion.
It is furniture for the beautiful absence of one.
